The Changeless One continues to do a new thing.

Since the new year began I've been meaning to share part of the book (Inner Healing) I read on prayer that just gripped my heart during a difficult time when at its peak I thought, how on earth will I ever change? When? etc... And as the year ended his grace just continued to prove endless and sufficient!

"One of God's mind-stretching characteristics is his fascinating combination of changelessness and change. He himself never changes, he is the 'the same yesterday and today and forever' (Heb 13:8). In that immutability we take great confidence: the God we approached yesterday is going to be just as approachable today. But his Word also declares that he is always doing a new thing. The Changeless One effects change constantly." (Flynn & Gregg, 1993, p.194)

These last few years, and especially months, He has been doing a new thing in me as I continue to prepare. It is evident that He loves and cares for his people, he only desires the best for his loved ones that he has so amazingly drawn to himself. Regardless of anything, he is good and his way is perfect. I continue to learn how to trust and it's a wonderful adventure with my Jesus.

My prayer is for Him to continue to be glorified in us through the change He brings so lovingly and with much power in our lives.
