Fish Market

A few weeks ago a some of us gals decided to go out for some fish. It was my first time so this was a fun adventure. It's a process, unless you decide to buy frozen but I highly recommend the fresh fish and the experience. First you go to an alley street next to one of our main streets downtown and there you'll find an abundance of fish shops/stands. You pick one of the many fish shops/stands and select your fish (I have no clue which, don't know the types and their names in the language... but one day! Thankful for friends with an idea.). Then go to a local veggie shop for tomatoes, chili peppers, garlic, onion and cheese for the salsa. Next you go to a restaurant just by the fish market (there are lots of restaurants there) where they cook your fish and make the salsa for you. In about 20 minutes you get a yummy local dinner! That night we ate grilled and fried fish, don't for get the chips though! Hmmm... fish and chips, I want some now =)

The last picture here has the grilled fish which you eat with something similar to a tortilla called hobs rashush (on the right) and the wonderful salsa with cheese (on the left).
